Our
two senior guides are Bikram Thapa (center) and Sansar Gurung

Both Bikram and Sansar are officially licensed as guides by
the Nepal Tourism Office.
Bikram, a guide and technical climber
with 15 years’ experience, has lead treks to the Everest
Region more than fifty times and provides guide service
throughout Nepal and into Bhutan. He lives in Kathmandu
with his wife and young son. Bikram speaks fluent English,
good German, and of course Nepali.
Sansar is based in Pokhara, where he
lives with his wife and three children. Sansar is completely
familiar with trekking in all parts of the Annapurna massif
and can arrange river sports, paragliding and ultralight
flights, boating or mountain biking at Pokhara. Sansar speaks
fluent English and Nepali. He can be your guide or guide/porter.

in Kathmandu and surroundings (including Nagarkot, famous
for its sunrise views of the Himalaya), Pokhara, Chitwan,

Tickets for internal flights in Nepal
are subject to significant cancellation
penalties (please read below ), so it is often
best to arrive from overseas well ahead of the date on which
you want to fly, in case your arrival is delayed. Also,
in planning your return to Kathmandu for onward overseas
travel, it is best to allow for possible flight cancellations
or delays due to inclement weather, even in the best seasons.
!!Cancellation
penalties: Penalties for cancellation of internal
flight tickets are 10 percent for cancellations made more
than 24 hours ahead, one-third for cancellations up to three
hours ahead, and full forfeiture for later cancellations
or no-shows.

| Costs and Payment
|
| Please
tell us what you are interested in doing in Nepal and we will
send you cost information. We think you will be pleasantly
surprised at how inexpensive travel in Nepal can be. We accept
VISA credit cards. For advance payments, if any are needed,
we can also accept bank cashier’s checks in Nepal Rupees
or major foreign currencies, but several weeks’ delay
may be needed for bank clearance of the checks, which is not
under our control.
